Stadiacard's Select ticketing system is the most advanced ticketing system available on the market today. Using the system, supporters may purchase seats at the club Ticket Office, Online, or over the telephone and the system operates in a non-smart card, paper ticket-only environment too.
The Ticket Office Module handles your ticket windows and all the administration functionality of the system. Operators, be they Agents, Supervisors or Administrators, have access to tasks at their security level.
The Online Module is a complete web interface giving supporters the capability to specify and buy seats for games shown in the current availability list. The ticketing software is designed to be simple and quick to use and interfaces with the main Ticket Office module, meaning that there is no need to segregate sections of seating for online or window selling.
Season ticket holders have their smart cards loaded with all match, stand, turnstile and seat information at the start of the season. Cup game tickets can be loaded too, using on-demand or pre-ordered options. Other supporters also have smart cards which are enabled automatically when seats are purchased.
Smartcards are impossible to forge and always traceable, meaning that you know the details of the seat occupier at any game. The smart card retains its purchasing history, providing easy audit trails.
Because the smart card is a personal identification and no paper ticket is issued, smartcards do not appear on the black market as the supporter needs to retain it for future use. Lost cards can be re-issued, but a cost can be set which deters fraud and, as a supporter history is maintained, repeated “losses” will be highlighted and the supporter notified or his smart card facility withdrawn. In this way, ticket touting is eliminated.
The Select software also provides management information, building supporter profiles, showing stadium access times, frequency and so on, which is a useful marketing tool for stimulating additional ticket and merchandising sales.
A season ticket smart card holder who cannot attend a match can “return” his ticket to the club, the match being de-activated from his card, allowing for re-sale by the club and thereby producing further revenue benefits.
Concession ticket holders can upgrade their ticket, on a match basis, providing another useful revenue stream for the club.
