A new and exciting chapter in the history of St Mirren Football Club begins today, 31st January, with the first match at the new St Mirren Park, just a short distance for the club's previous home at Love Street.

The club entertains Kilmarnock and tickets are in great demand.  Sales began on 18 January and supporters were at the Ticket Office as the doors opened.  The match sold out inside a few days, with Stadiacard's Select Ticketing System processing all ticket sales.  Many fans chose to use Select's online service to make purchases and well over 50% of the ticket sales were made online - a really high percentage.  This meant that there was less queueing at the Ticket Office and increased sales because of the ease with which supporters can make their seat choices.
