St Mirren Football Club began season ticket sales today, 2nd June, for the 2008-09 season and, at the same time, began using Stadiacard's Select Ticketing System.

Supporters who are existing season ticket holders have been able to renew online and, when the season kicks off, will be able to purchase match tickets online too.

There has been a steady flow of supporters at the Ticket Office for both renewals and new sales.  At the end of the first day, 25% of last season's season ticket holding total has already been achieved. Supporters have been commenting how much quicker the sales process has been, leading to shorter queues, and the Ticket Office staff have been delighted at how easy the system has been to use.

Plans are already being made for implementation of Select at St Mirren's new stadium, currently being built and on schedule for occupation early in 2009.
